The project consists of creating an interactive and comprehensive spatial information system in the framework of eGovernment services. The system created will enable the service of the population using the Internet in terms of making geodesic and cartographic resources available. In the present state, the Department of Geodesy and Cartography of the District Starostwo in Nowa Sól provides geodetic and cartographic resources as well as information in analogue form, which requires several times a personal appearance of the client at the Headquarters of the Department (submission of application, payment and receipt of the product, such as: maps, extracts from the land register and other information). The process of data acquisition is time-consuming and requires many additional activities, inter alia, to prepare, share and transfer materials to interested parties. Elements of the project’s implementation are: 1. Digitisation of resources by converting analogue resources into digital formats; 2. The purchase of fixed assets such as computer kits and i-kioskis used to operate the system, archiving data and making data available to the public; 3. Purchase and implementation of a spatial information system consisting of the introduction of e-services, public services made available online and completed by a transaction. 4. Promotion of the project consisting of information about the system created and the rules of its use. The project will provide services that are crucial to the social and economic development of the region in an easy way, widely accessible using web browsers and without the need for a personal appearance of the customer. Geodetic and cartographic services have a direct impact on economic development, including the basic activity in the architectural design process.
