The aim of the project implemented by ENEA Operator Sp. z o.o. is to increase the potential of the power grid to receive energy from RES by converting overhead lines into cable lines and converting SN/nn station with sub-load voltage regulation. The project will be implemented in the “design and build” mode within 2 tasks covering the northern and southern parts of Lubuskie voivodship. The project will convert overhead lines into cable lines with larger cross-sections, i.e. with a cross section of 150 mm² and 240 mm², with a total length of approx. 156.44 km (including approx. 146.7 km of cable lines with a cross section of 150 mm² and approx. 9,74 km of cable lines with a cross-section of 240 mm²) together with the adaptation of the associated infrastructure related to the construction of cable lines, including: cable connectors, modernisation of existing SN/nn stations, installation of follow-up compensation in WN/SN stations. It should be noted that only at the stage of the preparation of the technical documentation, the detailed course of the individual sections of the cable line will be determined and the question of how to acquire the right to the property will be resolved (depending on the agreement with the owner of the property, it will be the purchase of real estate, establishment of transmission service or other legal titles). The total length of cable lines envisaged for construction may change due to the need to change the route resulting, for example, from the failure to obtain legal titles for private property, hence the specified length of cable lines is estimated. The project also includes the reconstruction of 8 SN/nn stations with sub-load voltage control with the installation of AMI meters in customers powered from the abovementioned station. The potential for connecting renewable energy sources to the grid has been estimated at not less than 31 MW. Due to the lack of an adequate output indicator, section C1.1 selected the indicator ‘Additional renewable electricity generation capacity’.
