The aim of the project is to increase energy efficiency through comprehensive and deep modernisation of the building in the field of installation of renewable energy sources, reconstruction of heating system and ventilation. The current state of the building is characterised by poor technical condition of the installation: C.O., c.w.u. and electrical and lack of ventilation system. In addition, there are significant energy losses resulting from leakage of window and door carpentry, lack of roof warming and leakage. The project “Improving energy efficiency – overhaul of roof and installation with the use of RES in Nowa Sól High School” consisting of a deep modernisation of public buildings such as the buildings of the Secondary School in Nowa Sól, will be implemented in the design and construction mode. In particular, the implementation of the project will consist of: changes of the lower heat source in the form of the conversion of the heating system from gas to the heat of the earth (heat pumps), the use of solar energy to protect the building – photovoltaic panels and solar installation supporting hot water. The project also planned the replacement of window and door carpentry, repair of electrical installations, central heating and roof panels. The project also planned the construction of ventilation systems with recuperation and recovery of heat at the level of 80 %, heating and insulation. The project will set up an energy monitoring and management system to fully monitor the operation of installed equipment and track performance using ICT-based systems. The project envisages the modernisation of energy buildings and plans to increase employment. The project is in line with the horizontal policies of the European Union.
