The subject of the project is the modernisation and expansion of the sewage treatment plant in Zbąszynek, together with the development of sewage sludge for agricultural purposes, as well as the use of renewable energy sources (photovoltaics) for the purpose of supplying processes related to the operation of the treatment plant. The beneficiary of the project is the Municipality of Zbąszynek. The main objective of the project is to improve the natural environment by modernising and expanding the sewage treatment plant in Zbąszynek. Specific objectives include ordering waste water management in the area of Zbąszynek agglomeration, increasing the number of inhabitants of the region using waste water treatment plants, improving wastewater treatment parameters in the Zbąszynek Municipality to the parameters established in national and Community legislation, reducing the number of national and Community legislation, reducing significant disparities between the development of the sewage system, including increasing the proportion of the population using sewage treatment plants, improving the status of existing waters and improving the capacity of the regions, improving the capacity of the regions and improving territorial cohesion, including increasing the proportion of the population using sewage treatment plants, improving the status of existing waters and improving the capacity of the regions, improving the capacity of the waste water systems and improving territorial cohesion.
