The object of the project is the modernisation, expansion and reconstruction of 3 cultural institutions together with the adjacent area, including the adaptation of the facilities to conduct cultural and tourist activities. The main objective of the project is to increase the number of people benefiting from cultural heritage in the cultural institutions of the Municipality of Żary. Target groups: • Residents of the Municipality, powiat and voivodship • Users of Cultural Institutions • Tourists • Persons with disabilities The scope of the project includes the following works: • Renovation, maintenance and equipment of the Municipal Public Library building in Żary (building works on the facility; metalworking; the renovation of the fence) together with the 3D workshop; • Regeneration and land development near the MBP building (small architecture; educational path; renovation and partial construction of the fence; illumination and monitoring of the site; cable installation with cabinet). • Regeneration and land development at the incandescent Culture House and the creation of e-Gallery (elements of small architecture; educational path; lighting; monitoring; redevelopment of the stage; installation- lighting and monitoring; rainwater drainage connection; technical doc. scene lighting) • Expansion of the Silesian-Łużycki Borderland Museum – construction of the world; educational path; connection, lighting; The plates; Infokioskis, software, equipment. The project will be implemented through the following actions: • Promotion of the project according to guidelines, • Investor supervision, • Archaeological supervision, • Conservative supervision. As a result of the project, the following results will be achieved: • Increased number of visits in supported cultural and natural heritage sites and tourist attractions (CI 9): 10 250 wasps. • Number of people benefiting from cultural resources supported: 15 250 wasps. • Employment growth in supported entities (other than enterprises) – 1 FTE Implementation period: 2016
