The project includes the expansion of DW 158 in Lipki Wielkie by a long time. 1.41 km and aims to improve the technical condition of the surface and ensure safety and comfort of vehicle traffic. The overarching objective of the project is to improve the region’s external and internal transport accessibility in road traffic and to improve access to motorways and expressways by increasing the standard and quality of the road network and road safety. The implementation of the project will contribute to strengthening the coherence of the Polish transport network with the transport systems of the EU countries, ensuring the cohesiveness of the country and individual regions with the European space. It is planned to achieve the new objectives: • facilitated accessibility to the main transport routes, especially to the S3, • very good technical condition of the road, reducing excessive fuel consumption, noise and exhaust emissions, • regulated width of the road, adequate number of bus and parking bays and pavements – increasing the absence of traffic participants, including pedestrians, • adequate cross-sectional declines and equality in the transverse and longitudinal direction – improvement of drainage conditions and increasing the comfort of driving, • increase the economic activity of the region, and increase the economic attractiveness of the region. • increased mobility of residents, • easier passage through Lipki Wielkie – regulated broad roadways, new sidewalks and bus and parking bays – shortening the journey time and improving the safety of traffic participants, including pedestrians.
