The main objective of the project, which aims to revitalise the park-floor complex in Żary and to create the Social Services Centre, is to restore and give new functions (gospods, education, tourists, recreational, community, and cultural) of the degraded part of the city. The implementation of the project will have a positive impact on: — opposing social exclusion, -reconstruction of historical values, -improving the technical condition of historic buildings, -improving the quality of public spaces, -creating functional public spaces, -increasing tourist attractiveness and settlement area. The investment will include revitalisation of the park and farm complex, in the scope of comprehensive revalorisation of the historic park and revitalisation of the post-flooratory building. After the project is completed, new features will be given to the park and the facility. The project aims to restore historical and functional values to the park through the management of the stands, renovation and restoration of historic buildings, the location of small architectural elements, as well as elements of infrastructure. The Social Services Centre will be set up in the post-floor building, including projects planned under the revitalisation programme aimed at combating social exclusion. One of the rooms will be adapted as a place of organisation of meetings and cultural events. As part of the project, equipment will be purchased to enable the Social Services Centre to function properly. The recipients of the project will be residents of Żary commune with urban status and residents of Żarski County. As of 31.12.2015. The village has a population of 38287 people. The infrastructure created under the project will also be used by people visiting the city.
