The object of the proposed project is an investment in infrastructure of 4 educational establishments in Skwierzyna commune, conducting educational activities at the general level in 5 buildings (building facilities). The project involves the execution of construction and assembly works (including thermomodernisation) and retrofitting of 25 classes in: basic furnishings of rooms, equipment for mathematic sciences. and natural sciences, computer/laptops (used for teaching purposes), interactive table, ICT equipment, specialist. software. comput. These actions will make a tangible contribution to increasing the availability of high-quality education in general education institutions in the area of G. Skwierzna, in particular in the area of key competences important for the regional labour market (e.g. natural sciences and mathematics). The project will also allow for equal development opportunities for pupils from different backgrounds and areas, including rural areas. The planned actions are particularly important in the context of the low interest of young people in strict and technical directions in choosing further education. As a result, this results in a shortage of properly qualified workers in the municipality. The project will significantly improve accessibility to modern teaching and popularisation of science (especially in the field of mathematics and natural sciences). The project will make it possible to complement the theoretical knowledge of pupils with practical activities exploiting the possibilities of science and technology, which will undoubtedly increase the interest of young people in science. This will also strengthen innovative and creative attitudes among students.
