Improving the quality of education in the area of key competences in the Nowa Sól District by modernising and retrofitting the High School in Nowa Sól

The project Improving the quality of education in the area of key competences in the Nowy Sól District through modernisation and retrofitting of the Secondary School in Nowa Sól will be implemented in partnership between Nowa Sól County, the Municipality of Nowa Sól and the Municipality of Otyń, which jointly implement the goal-improving quality of education of pupils of secondary and upper secondary education in the area of key functional area of Sobiology, in particular the subregional area of the Novaya Voivodeship. The project is carried out in the area of the City of Nowa Sól, but its impact includes children and young people living in rural areas.According to the partnership agreement with modernised teaching infrastructure and classes conducted using equipment purchased in the project, a significant number of pupils coming from rural communes will benefit from the purchase of specialised educations. An astronomical observatory will be created, this type of workshop is an innovative solution for both the form of teaching and the experimental approach to the tasks performed by students (description in SW p. 17). Currently, no educational establishment has such a studio, implementation of the project[.
