The scope of the project consisting of the extension of the Voivodeship Road No. 703 on the section from km 60 + 500.00 to km 70+ 000.00 includes: — demolition and construction of roadway construction, – extension and reconstruction of intersections, – demolition and construction of pavements, – demolition and construction of exits, – construction of access roads, – construction of bus bays, – demolition and construction of culverts, – construction of gorges for animals through the construction of the covered rivers, – demolition and construction of the bridge, – construction and reconstruction of the drainage system. The implementation of the expansion of the voivodship road will result in a decisive improvement in the safety of pedestrians and people with disabilities by separating pedestrians from the car (walks), vertical and horizontal signs of roads, crossing gates, scanning of selected intersections and islands separating pedestrians at crossings. Expenditure related to the reconstruction of the site’s armament network, which conflicts with the investment for the entire Project, is included in the cost category Reconstruction of the technical infrastructure conflicting with the investment. The aim of the project is to: improve the technical conditions, capacity and safety of road traffic (transit and local) and pedestrians, adapt the load capacity of the road to the requirements of existing legislation and improve environmental conditions. The implementation of the investment will serve residents who use it for professional or recreational purposes, as well as those coming from outside the region for tourism or business purposes. The road users are also carriers, professional drivers, entrepreneurs, tourists passing through DW 703.
