The main objective of the project is to: Increase the use of renewable energy sources in total energy production in Skierniewice City. The final beneficiaries of the project will be – directly – residents of the real estate covered by this project, indirectly all residents of the city of Skierniewice and the Łódź Voivodeship. The total number of participants in the project is 494 people. The subject of the project is the construction of RES installation for 122 single-family buildings belonging to residents of Skierniewice City. The project’s material scope includes: I. Installation of solar installations – residential buildings. Installation is planned in 117 locations. II. Assembling boilers for pellets. Installation is planned in 5 locations. This project will result in a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions of 117.92 tonnes CO2/year. The implementation of this project fully corresponds to the principle of universal design, based on eight rules: usability for people with varying efficiency, flexibility in use, simple and intuitive use, legible information, error tolerance, effort-free use, size and space suitable for access and use, perception of equality.
