The aim of the project is to organise water and sewage management in the commune of Uniejów and its scope includes: — Construction of qualified sanitary sewage system with a total length of 6.951 km and sanitary sewage system ineligible with a total length of 2.379 km – Construction of water supply networks with a total length of 11.675 km – extension of water treatment stations in Uniejów and Ostrowsko – Reconstruction of wastewater treatment plants in Uniajów The direct project aims to reduce the quality of life in the commune of Uniejów by increasing the level of equipment of the municipality with basic water and sewerage infrastructure. As a result of the project, a total of 6.951 km of qualified sanitary sewers and 2.379 km of sanitary sewage system will be built, which will allow the connection of new customers at the level of RLM 1.660. The concentration ratio for the agglomerations of the Unions after the implementation of the project will be at level 148. On the other hand, investments in water supply directly will allow access to improved water supply for 594 people. The project will increase the capacity of the treatment plant to Qdśr = 1200 m³/d and the requirements set out in Annex I.B to Council Directive 91/271/EEC on urban waste water treatment will be met. The implementation of the planned project will meet the basic needs of water and sewage management, which, together with the economic development of the region, was considered crucial and necessary for the continued proper functioning of both residents and entrepreneurs. The target group consists mainly of residents of the areas covered by the project in the area of agglomeration of the Unions and tourists, mainly from the areas of the Łódź Voivodeship but also from all over the country and abroad
