The aim of the project is to expand the swimming pool complex using renewable energy sources – geothermal waters in Uniejów. This will be achieved by building a multifunctional recreational pool with the purchase of equipment, designed in accordance with the concept of universal design and fostering the development of sustainable spa and active tourism and recreation. The project will result in the possibility of conducting animation classes for seniors and children in a built recreational pool using a blown projection screen and a led screen. The indirect objective of the project is to improve the tourist attractiveness of the commune of Uniejów, which will encourage the creation of new jobs in the tourist resort both in Uniejów as well as in the Functional Area – Tourist Area of the Warta Valley. The implementation of the project directly contributes to the scenario desired by the commune of Uniejów, which is to build a leading position of the leader of thermal and health tourism and recreational tourism in Central Poland. The result of the project will be to increase the economic development of the commune and strengthen the image of the Uniejów spa, offering attractive tourist products in an interesting natural, historical and cultural environment. The construction of tourist infrastructure includes the construction of an outdoor brine recreational pool, an outdoor swimming pool for children, swimming pool facilities. The facility will be adapted for the disabled, i.e. the docks will be designed with an inheritance allowing access for people with disabilities and will be so ‘rolled’ that they can be held over the entire length, and a lift for people with movement dysfunction will be installed. Communication lines will also be broader, so that they can be used freely and without collision by Fathers with disabilities. The aim of the project will be residents of the commune of Uniejów, Poddębicki district and Łódź Voivodeship, as well as tourists from other regions.
