THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO RAISE STANDARDS AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF CULTURAL SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE USE OF ICT AND THE DIGITISATION OF THE GREAT THEATRE’S CULTURAL RESOURCES IN A BOAT, WHICH IS THE SECOND LARGEST OPERA HOUSE IN THE COUNTRY AND ONE OF THE LARGEST IN EUROPE – MORE THAN 1000 SEATS IN THE AUDIENCE. THE SHOW AND POSTER ARE INSEPARABLY CONNECTED WITH THE THEATRE AND WITH THEATRICAL PLAY, AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PERFORMANCE, A HARBINGER OF WHAT THE VIEWER WILL SEE ON THE STAGE. SOMETIMES THE POSTER BECOMES A WORK IN ITSELF. THE HISTORY OF THE GREAT THEATRE IS ALSO A HISTORY OF COSTUMEOLOGY, PRESENTING THE WORKS OF DESIGNERS (ARTISTS). IN ORDER TO CONSOLIDATE CULTURAL HERITAGE AND ARTISTIC AND THEATRICAL ARTS, MEASURES WILL BE TAKEN TO INCREASE THE AVAILABILITY OF THE ARTISTIC RESOURCES OF THE GREAT THEATRE IN THE BOAT BY DIGITISING ITS COLLECTIONS (6725 COPIES). THESE COLLECTIONS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE ONLINE AND ON-SITE IN THE THEATRE. FOR THIS PURPOSE, THE PURCHASE OF THE RELEVANT IT INFRASTRUCTURE, SOFTWARE (LICENCES), SERVICES (M.IN. KNOW-HOW) AND MANNEQUINS CONSTITUTING ROOM FURNISHINGS. THE INTERNET PORTAL WILL BE CREATED AND THE DIGITAL MUSEUM OF THE GREAT THEATRE IN BOAT (CMTWŁ) WILL BE LAUNCHED. TWŁ WILL PROVIDE E-SERVICE AT LEVEL 3 – BILATERAL INTERACTION (RESERVATION OF TOURS, WORKSHOPS). THE PROJECT MEETS ALL THE PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES AND CONTRIBUTES TO THE DISSEMINATION OF THEATRE’S CULTURAL RESOURCES, PROVIDING UNIVERSAL AND OPEN ACCESS TO THEM BY ELECTRONIC MEANS, PROMOTING THE REGION’S HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE, WHILE ENSURING EQUAL ACCESS TO THE CONTENT PRESENTED TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND THOSE WITH DIFFICULT ACCESS TO CULTURAL RESOURCES. THE PROJECT INCLUDES A FEASIBILITY STUDY, THE PROMOTION OF THE PROJECT AND THE TASKS RELATED TO ITS OPERATION (ADMINISTRATOR-EDITOR OF THE PORTAL) WILL BE CARRIED OUT. THE PROJECT HAS A REGIONAL SCOPE. HOWEVER, THE DATABASE WILL BE OPEN AND ACCESSIBLE TO USERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.
