The direct objective of the project is to increase accessibility to pre-school education through the construction of an inclusive kindergarten with the purchase of equipment and teaching aids in Uniejów. The implementation of the project will contribute to equalising educational opportunities at the earliest stage of teaching for pre-school children, including the disabled and with special educational needs. The project will promote the promotion of pre-school education in the Łódź region and will allow for the realisation of classes at a high level of education, which for organizational and technical reasons could not be implemented so far. The indirect objective of the project is to increase the potential of pre-school education infrastructure, which will help to compensate intra-regional disparities in improving accessibility to social services infrastructure. The project will result in the development of an educational base, which will contribute to the quality of teaching and will allow for better preparation of children for the next stages of education. In addition, the project will promote the reconciliation of working life with private parents or carers of pre-school children, which will allow them to return to the labour market, to improve their skills and thus to combat social exclusion. Investment tasks are related to the construction of an integration preschool in Uniejów with land development and the purchase of equipment, including teaching aids. The new integration preschool has been designed in accordance with the concept of universal design both outside and inside the facility, and will be equipped with educational aids tailored to the needs of children with disabilities and special educational needs. 200 children will be able to attend kindergarten. The target group of the project will be residents of Gm. Uniejów in the Poddębic district and residents of other communes from the region, including children from rural areas and their parents or carers.
