The aim of the project is to improve the quality of assistance addressed to children over 3 years of age and young people, coming from pathological families or having a difficult financial and living situation, by establishing and running in the City of Łódź in the period from 1.11.2018 to 31.10.2021 a specialised day care centre in the form of a sociotherapeutic common room for 55 children (30Ki25M), residents and residents of the metropolitan area of the City of Łódź, powiats: Brzeziński, Zgierski, Lodz Eastern and Pabianic areas, including revitalised areas. As part of the project, each participant/participant will be assured: classes with psychologist, therapy, psychotherapy and English classes (1 x 1h weeks), Polish (1 x 1 h weeks), digital competence (1 x 1h weeks), learning competence (1 x 1 h weeks) – during the course of the project. In addition, each participant will be provided with a meal during the course of the classes and, if necessary, the carriage and carriage from the place of residence to the sociotherapeutic dayroom as part of the work of the common room. The common room will be conducted by 2 educators (2 persons are necessary to conduct a group of 15 children after trauma). Organise the whole work of the common room will be the Manager, who will also determine the schedule of classes for 3 age groups. The project will contribute to the implementation of the Recommendation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 on key competences for lifelong learning (2006/962/EC) by providing the right offer to those young people who, due to educational difficulties arising from personal, social, cultural or economic circumstances, need specific support to realise their educational potential. Each participant will receive support- 8 h weeks in key competences (group classes: after 2 h. j. Polish, English, IT competence, learning skills).
