In implementing the project, WWCOiT im. Kopernik in Łódź will undertake activities supporting and supplementing the screening programme for early detection of colorectal cancer aimed at increasing the reporting for preventive tests. After analysing the level of reporting for research in the Łódź Voivodship, the applicant decided that the project will include the population of powiats with the lowest reporting rate for colonoscopic tests. Participants of the project will be all people aged 50-65 years regardless of family history, 40-65 years old, having a first-degree relative who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and 25-65 years old, from a family with Lynch syndrome.
