The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness of ACPOL ADAM by implementing the results of R & D in the form of an innovative technology for the production of homogeneous polyethylene regranulate – MSPG® (Monochromatic Sealable Polyethylene Granules). The production of homogeneous heated polyethylene regranulate with elimination from the composition of pigments and thermoheating substance will be based on automatic sorting of waste by colours with much higher efficiency and quality than manual sorting process. Key characteristics of the product produced by the project: * Improving the purity level of polyethylene recycled from 84.5 % to 98.9 % * Improvement of regranulate colour – from 7031 RAL to 9016 RAL * Elimination of pigment additives to improve colour * Elimination of the chemical additive thermal heated agent (maline anhydride) * Obtaining the thermal heated properties of polyethylene regranulate while maintaining high quality and purity of the final product. The innovative MSPG® regranulate production technology will allow: —more efficient, cheaper and more efficient to obtain fractions with uniform colours – to obtain a regranulate with purity in the range of 97.5-98.9 %, which will create the possibility of significantly improving the production technology of regranulate with thermal heated features without the need for addition of chemicals (better product quality while maintaining lower production costs). Tasks: the project’s objective will be achieved through investment in fixed assets. The task is described in detail in point. D1 of the application for funding. Target groups: the recipients of the product will be present and new customers of the Applicant both on the Polish and foreign markets. The target group consists of producers of different types of plastic products. The project indicators are listed and described in sections C.II and C.III.
