The planned project concerns the construction of photovoltaic installations on residential buildings and the installation of aerothermal pumps in residential buildings in the Municipality of Świdnik. As part of the project, 219 photovoltaic installations for the production of electricity and 55 aerothermal heat pumps for hot water heating will be carried out. Local residents who expressed their willingness to participate in the project were qualified to the project and their properties meet the technical requirements for installation of the abovementioned installations. Direct users of the installation will be residents of the Municipality of Świdnik where the installations will be installed. Indirectly, all residents of the municipality will benefit from the project, due to lower fossil fuel consumption-reducing carbon dioxide emissions, reducing air pollution. The project will also reduce the cost/payment of residents. The construction of a photovoltaic installation in a residential building will enable the production of electricity using photovoltaic modules-devices that convert solar radiation to electric current. Photovoltaic panels will be mounted on dedicated structures for safe use and operation. The electrical power from the panels will be transferred by separate DC circuits to inverters. In order to monitor the operation of the inverter and the amount of electricity generated, the inverter will be equipped with a communication module. Monitoring of the installation’s work will take place from the level of the Internet portal, where the installation service unit will have an overview of the system’s operation. Installed heat pumps will support and prepare hot water in residential buildings, which will reduce the consumption of fossil fuels to prepare it and reduce air pollution through the use of these fuels. Planned installed capacity of thermal energy – 0,66 MW Estimated CO2-496,64 tonnes equivalent
