The aim of the project is to improve the quality of the environment in the municipality through comprehensive thermomodernisation of public buildings. As part of the project, work will be carried out consisting of comprehensive thermomodernisation of school buildings in Nowa Wola and Wola Sernicka, located in the commune of Serniki. The project includes the tasks consisting of warming the outer walls of the Primary School building and its gymnasium and the gymnasium building in Wola Sernicka, warming the walls of the cellars, warming the inner walls of the primary school building, modernisation of central heating and hot water installations in the secondary school, replacement of central heating systems in the building of the Primary School, exchange of heating valves for energy, modernisation of heat node, exchange of central heating systems in the primary school building, exchange of heating valves for energy, modernisation of heat node, exchange of heating systems in the primary school building and its gymnasium. In the building of the Primary School located in Nowa Wola there are plans to warm the outer walls, warm the ceilings on the attic and above the basement, replace window and door carpentry, manufacture facade plasters, demolish gutters and re-mount on longer handles, replacement of central heating system, replacement of coal boiler for boiler with biomass power of 75 kW, replacement of light sources for energy. In addition, the project includes the implementation of systems for measuring, monitoring and managing the use of energy in modernised buildings. This project is consistent with the “Low-carbon Economy Plan”, which aims to improve air quality to acceptable and target levels, e.g. by reducing emissions from heating systems, thanks to the deep thermal modernisation of public buildings.
