The main objective of the project is to increase detection and reduce the occurrence of hearing, voice and speech disorders among 32,972 pupils (16 156K/16 816M) of primary school I, from the Lublin province, by acquiring knowledge about early detection of malformations, causes and therapy of hearing, voice and speech disorders and participation in screening diagnostic tests and therapeutic activities, as part of the Regional Health Programme, i.e. “Prevention programme for early detection of hearing, voice and speech disorders among primary school students from Lublin Voivodeship 2018-2021” until 31.12.2021. The target group consists of 32 972 pupils (16 156K/16 816M) of primary schools from two consecutive school yearbooks, from the Lublin Voivodeship, who are not covered by specialist medical care in the field of hearing, voice and speech disorders and are eligible for the Regional Health Programme, i.e. ‘Programme for the prevention of early detection of hearing, voice and speech disorders among primary school students from Lublin Voivodeship 2018-2021’, including: —18 134 people (8 886K/9 248M) learn or live in rural areas (weakly populated according to. DEGURBA) -1 318 persons. (646K/672M) is at risk of poverty and social exclusion -329 people. (161K/168M) with disabilities Tasks: —32 972 UP (children) and their parents/careers will be subject to educational activities to increase their knowledge and awareness about early detection of malformations, the causes of hearing impairment and the role of prevention -32 972 UP will be included in hearing, voice and speech screening tests to detect early stage changes and correct them through appropriate therapy -3300 UP will be subject to therapeutic measures in terms of improvement of hearing disorders: — 4 946 UP diagnosed and/or reduced health problems -69 places of health services
