The aim of the project is to increase the quality and availability of health services for residents of Puławy county and surrounding areas by supporting four POZ facilities in Puławy, which are organizational units of the PZOZ in Puławy, including: Clinic No. 1 at ul. Guerrillas 17, GP 2 at ul. Skłodowska 10, POZ clinic no. 3 at ul. Kilińskiego 18 and Odchodnia POZ nr 4 at ul. Kollataja 51. As part of the project, the facilities will be retrofitted with modern medical equipment and equipment, as well as construction works for the construction of slipways and modernisation of the entrance to two clinics. The direct benefits of the project will be felt both for patients (higher quality of services and effectiveness of treatment, better accessibility to the facility) and clinic staff (improving the quality and efficiency of work by retrofitting the clinics with modern medical devices). The target group consists of residents of Puławy County, using universal health care, who are present or potential patients of the Applicant. The implementation of the project will contribute to improving the quality of services provided and increasing accessibility to facilities for people with disabilities. As a result, it will reduce territorial disparities in access to health services and reduce the marginalisation and social exclusion of people with disabilities. The project is compatible with Tool 14 Policy Paper, aimed, among other things, on investments in the development of integrated care in primary healthcare. The project assumes the implementation of actions aimed at improving the conditions for providing health services in GH establishments (modernisation of infrastructure, modern equipment) which will directly contribute to improving the effectiveness of prevention, diagnosis and effectiveness of treatment of patients, in particular in the area of cardiovascular diseases, which are currently the main cause of death, hospitalisation or permanent incapacity for work.
