The project includes improving the conditions and quality of vocational training in the Lukowski County. It will be implemented in the area of the town of Łuków, in the area of the ZS No. 1 in Łuków, located at Aleje Kościuszki 10 in Łuków(Ground Nos 7696 and 9742). Its scope includes the reconstruction and renovation of the 2 largest buildings of ZS No. 1 in Łuków, the construction of 2 2-cond. workshop buildings, as well as the demolition of 3 ground-floor buildings (no adaptability, insufficient use area, non-functionality of the premises), as well as equipping 11 workshops/workshops with modern equipment in accordance with KOWEZiU recommendations. In addition, the school infrastructure will be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities through the implementation of the project, so that they will have easier access to school education. The professions that fit into the intelligent specialisations of lubelskie voivodship (mechanical technicians, motor vehicle technicians, electrical techniques) and important for the local labour market (trader technician) will be supported. During the implementation of the project, solutions will be implemented in the school infrastructure aimed at a personalised approach to the student (leading classes in smaller groups), helping students to choose the right specialisation (e.g. open days, study visits), as well as a system of tracking the fate of graduates. Thanks to the implementation of the project, cooperation with local entrepreneurs will be strengthened, the interest in education of professions will increase and the passability of professional exams will be improved. This will increase the number of qualified professionals in the sectors desired on the local labour market. The key result of the project is the actual number of users of the infrastructure, which will reach 200 pupils in 2020. The product indicator is 4 supported facilities (2 rebuilt and renovated + 2 new buildings commonly known as connectors), equipped with 125 pieces of equipment and the potential of supported infrastructure covering 200 pupils.
