Modernisation of vocational training infrastructure in the Opolskie District

The project includes improving the conditions and quality of vocational training in the Opolskie District. The territory of two rural communes will be implemented: Opole Lubelskie and Poniatowa. On properties belonging to the county: Kluczkowice Osiedle 7 plot no. 13/9, Opole Lubelskie, ul. Railway 4, plot No. 79/13, Poniatowa, ul. Fabryczna 16a, plot no. 429/21. Its scope includes modernisation of vocational education infrastructure, as well as retrofitting 20 workshops/workshops with modern equipment in accordance with KOWEZiU recommendations. In addition, the school infrastructure will be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities through the implementation of the project, so that they will have easier access to school education. The professions in the intelligent specialisations of the voivodship will be supported (mechanical engineer, IT technician, gardener technician), from the industry of rapid growth: nutrition and catering techniques and services important for the local labour market: hairdressing Techniques. During the implementation of the project, solutions will be implemented in the school infrastructure aimed at a personalised approach to the pupil (leading classes in smaller groups), helping students to choose the right specialisation (e.g. open days, study visits, workshops of professional skills), as well as a system for tracking graduates’ fate. Thanks to the implementation of the project, cooperation with local entrepreneurs will be strengthened, the interest in education of professions will increase and the passability of professional exams will be improved. This will increase the number of qualified professionals in the sectors desired on the local labour market. The key result of the project is the actual number of users of the infrastructure, which will reach 293 pupils in 2020. The product indicator is 3 supported facilities, equipped with 217 pieces of equipment and the potential of supported infrastructure comprising 311 pupils.
