The main objective of the project is to create a Centre for Intelligent Specialisations in the field of Innovative Industrial Technologies and Technical and Environmental Security, located in the Institute of Exploration Technology – the State Research Institute in Radom. The idea of the project is based on the assumptions contained in the Strategy for the Development of Mazovia 2030 Intelligent Mazowsze, Strategy for Responsible Development and a programme of technical infrastructure development for “Industry 4.0”, reflecting current and urgent needs for the development of innovative industry on the macro-region and country scale. The integrated and specialised infrastructure of the Intelligent Specialisation Centre will enable efficient and effective implementation of research and application tasks in the field of innovative technologies in the field of mechatronics and optomechatronics, advanced plasma technologies, support for passive construction and technical safety and environmental protection. Taking advantage of the potential of the Intelligent Specialisation Centre, existing system barriers to enterprise development will be eliminated, resulting from insufficient substantive and technical support in innovative activities and lack of access to the latest technologies necessary to develop specialised solutions competitive on the domestic and international markets. The development of research infrastructure will contribute to broadening cooperation with enterprises, mainly from the Mazowsze region, and adapting the quality of the services provided and the research work carried out to their growing expectations.
