The subject of the project concerns carrying out R & D works in the development of a photonic methane concentration sensor. The main objective is to increase the level of innovation and R & D activity of IPT PLUS Sp. z o.o. This goal will be achieved by achieving the specific objective, which has been defined as the development and marketing of a new product in the form of a solution dedicated in particular to the chemical market (for monitoring chemical processes) of energy processes. In addition, the sensor will be able to be used in the mining industry (methane leaks are the most common cause of accidents in mines), petroleum gas and agriculture (e.g. in the processing of industrial organic waste and animal manure during the production processes of agricultural biogas). The project’s leading technology is photonics, but at the same time nanotechnology and electronics will be used in the project. The project results respond to market trends and respond to market demand in the above-mentioned industries/economy. The result of the project shall be in line with the priority research directions defined for at least 3 areas of intelligent specialisation of the Mazowieckie province, as defined in them by research directions’ and research objectives within the given direction. The project concerns product innovation. It will be implemented with financial support from the EU, through support in 3 of project tasks: industrial research and development work carried out by the Applicant. Estimated time of implementation: It’s 24 a.m. Despite the fact that the project plans to involve the research unit, which is UMCS, all tasks will be carried out by the Applicant using the infrastructure in its own and planned as part of the project.
