Energy modernisation of public utility facilities in Płock

The subject of the project is: “Energy modernisation of public utility facilities in Płock” is the realisation of an investment involving the design and execution of comprehensive energy modernisation of public utility facilities of the Municipality-City Płock. The scope of work will include, in particular, modernisation of central heating, heat sources, ventilation system, hot water installation, warming of buildings, replacement of luminaires with light source exchange and the use of RES (air heat pump). Main objective of the project – Increasing the energy efficiency of 6 public buildings in M.Płock. These are educational establishments: 3 kindergartens, school and education center and 2 school teams. As a result of energy modernisation, these facilities will achieve an energy efficiency improvement of at least 25 % in relation to the existing state. This is a response to the identified needs in terms of energy improvement of publ facilities and the reduction of pollutant emissions in Płock-city where the limit levels of harmful substances in the air have been exceeded. Target group-children, pupils and young people and workers using the facilities directly. The environmental effects of the project will be enjoyed by all residents of the city and tourists. The project will be implemented in the “design and build” formula. The beneficiary, in accordance with the provisions of the PZP Act, concluded an agreement with the contractor of design works and construction and assembly works. Only part of the wider scope resulting from the contract with the contractor will be implemented under this project. The project will be implemented in one step using optimal techniques and technologies used in the implementation of such projects. The analysis carried out in the study confirms that the project is technically feasible, financially and organizationally feasible. The beneficiary shall have the capacity to maintain the project effects during its durability.
