Thermal modernisation of the buildings of the primary school in Nieporęt and Wólka Radzyminńska in the municipality of Nieporęt

As part of the project in the rural community of Nieporęt, a deep thermomodernisation of two school public facilities is planned. The detailed scope of the work includes, inter alia: manufacture of thermal insulation of external walls and foundation walls, warming of ceilings, modernisation of central heating system, modernisation of electrical installation with LED light bulbs, replacement of central heating furnace, weather automation, RES installation (collectors and photovoltaics), replacement of window and door joinery. The aim of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of two municipal public buildings through their deep thermal modernisation, including increasing the use of RES in the municipal energy balance. The project’s target group consists of residents of Nieporęt commune and Legion County. As a result of the project, two school facilities will be: reduce energy demand for heating and hot water preparation by improving the central heating supply system (including the replacement of central heating installations with storage tank and installation of solar collectors) and the replacement of the central heating system with the modernisation of the boiler room, reducing the amount of electricity consumed from the power grid by installing a photovoltaic system producing electricity for its own building on the roof, reducing the heat transfer by reducing heat losses. As a result of the project, the annual demand for heat will decrease by more than 50 %. This amount of energy will significantly contribute to lowering the operating costs of 2 municipal buildings and to achieving the socio-economic effects planned by the Applicant. The investment is feasible on the legal and technological side. The identification of a set of energy efficiency measures in these buildings was carried out on the basis of an energy audit.
