The project aims to build an integrated system of alerting and alerting the population about threats in the Mazowieckie voivodship. This project involves the construction of 15 alarm points in the Grodzisk Maz. Municipality, consisting of modern electronic slit sirens with devices for switching, control, control and monitoring. According to the recommendation of the Mazovian Voivodeship for the construction of an integrated system for alerting and alerting the population about threats to Mazowieckie voivodship within the framework of the RROWM 2014-2020, it is assumed to connect the points with the district headquarters and the voivodship headquarters, as well as the connection to the newly built system of other local systems. The modern system will be one of the important elements raising the level of safety of residents of the municipality. The system is a set of devices used to notify and alert the population about threats, consisting of a control centre (located in the Municipal Office building in Grodzisk Maz.) and alarm points located in selected commune locations, equipped with electronic alarm sirens. These facilities will be installed mainly on public-owned construction works. In areas where there is a high risk of flooding, a threat from plants and institutions using dangerous substances, or in places where large numbers of people gather, there will also be the possibility of issuing verbal messages, previously uploaded into the system’s memory, or broadcast live. In accordance with the recommendation of the Voivode, it is important to provide a solution based on the development and modernisation of software and the integration of existing IT systems, supporting the work of district crisis management centres and other cooperating entities. The project also envisages activities in the field of education of residents, aimed at increasing their awareness of natural disasters.
