Project titled “Increasing the tourist potential of the Grodzisk Mazowiecki commune thanks to the adaptation of historic objects for cultural needs” assumes the revaluation of two historical objects from the area of Grodzisk Mazowiecki commune, i.e. “Sunsurprise” villas in Grodzisk Mazowiecki and the Chełmania Family Dwork together with the historic park environment in Adamowizna. The revalorisation will involve the execution of construction and renovation works in both buildings, enabling their use for public purposes (currently buildings are destroyed and are not used in any way) and equipment for the realisation of a new, diverse cultural offer. In the case of the historic park environment in Adamowizna, the banks of the river will be strengthened, the stands will be organised, as well as road works and small architecture works will be carried out, which will help to organise the area and create a cultural path dedicated to the Chełmania Family. A complementary element of the project will be the digitisation of works of one of the best Polish graphic designers – Tadeusz Łapiński, professor at the University of Maryland, privately connected with Grodzisk Mazowiecki, as well as the digitisation of monuments revaluated in the project, as well as the digitised objects for residents and people interested in the history of the Grodzisk Mazowiecki commune free of charge. The digitisation module was included in the project due to the possibilities of its development in terms of artistic development, as well as its potential for tourist promotion of the municipality. The main objective of the project is to develop cultural resources of Grodzisk Mazowiecki commune in the context of their tourist potential. Potential target groups of effects of the project are residents of the Grodzisk county, residents of Mazovia Voivodeship and tourists visiting Mazowieckie voivodship. The project will be addressed to all age groups, but different cultural and educational offers are assumed depending on the group.
