The subject of the project is the construction of the Voivodeship Road No. 747 in the new route on the 8239 m section, running from the intersection with the national road No. 79 together with the intersection in Lipsko to the voivodeship road No. 754 (from km 29 + 451.00 to km 37 + 690.00). Thanks to the new delineation of the road, road traffic will be taken outside the built-up areas, the technical standard of the road will increase and the access to the newly built bridge on the Vistula in Kamien, connecting the southern part of Mazowieckie Voivodeship with Lubelskie Voivodeship, where further DW747 will connect with the currently built express road S19 (western Lublin ring road). The main objective of the project is the sustainable and intelligent development of Mazovia, which increases social and territorial cohesion of the region using the potential of the Mazovian labour market. The implementation of the project for the construction of the Voivodeship Road No. 747 on the indicated section will contribute to improving communication and spatial cohesion, including improving the communication accessibility of the internal and external Mazowieckie voivodship. This means faster and safer links between regional centres in the voivodship. The final beneficiaries of the investment will be mainly residents of the southern part of Mazowieckie voivodship (in particular the Leipzig district and Radom district). The need to implement the project resulted from the fact that the current state and course of DW No. 747 causes many adverse consequences for the district of Leipzig and its inhabitants. One of the main inconveniences is the transit traffic passing through the area leading to the newly built bridge on the Vistula River. In addition, the existing state of the pavement, sideways and sidewalks are medium or bad, which increases the risk of road accidents and increases vehicle wear.
