The aim of the project (P.) is to improve the health status of 50 children from classes I-VI from the area of obesity in the area of obesity during the project period 07.2019-06.2020r. The health support period of each participant(s) shall be 9 m by covering: 1. educational activities (nutrition and educational workshops for participants of the project (UP) and their parents) and 2. therapeutic intervention (medical examinations, group activities in the field of physical activity, including swimming pool, motor exercises in the hall). P. will be carried out by an entity performing therapeutic activities in partnership with social org. – in accordance with Article 33 of the Act of Implementation. The Applicant (W.) is an entity performing medical activity, number of register book:000000007131 and has more than 16 years of experience in paediatrics. Patients up to 13 years of age with obesity are treated in the GP Clinic and in the children’s ward. On average, approx. 2 cases of obesity per year in patients from up to 13 years. The project support is addressed to 50 persons (35K, 15M) with obesity of which at least 2 persons from the communes of przasnyskie county: (from municipalities: Chorzele, Czernice Borowe, Unicorn, Krasne, Krzynowłoga Mała, Przasnysz commune: rural and urban). P. is a response to the existing need for health support in this age group resulting from the diagnosis carried out in the municipalities of Pzasnyski (interviews with health centres, nurses, school hygienists, consultations with municipal offices and own data). The project fits into the target. RPO WM 2014-2020 for departments. 9.2.2.
