The main objective of the project is to increase knowledge and skills and to alleviate dysfunctions that hinder the education of 607 pupils and 598 pupils of Primary Schools No. 2 and 3 and Gymnasium No. 1 and 2 in Płońsk, as well as a lasting improvement in the quality of the educational offer of these schools by raising the qualifications of 126 teachers and 14 teachers and equipping schools with modern teaching aids, until 31.07.2018. The project provides support to gifted students, pupils with difficulty in mastering the school programme and pupils with special educational needs, including those with disabilities. The support addressed to teachers and the refurbishment of the educational base of schools provided for in the project is aimed at introducing a lasting change in the quality and effectiveness of teaching activities carried out in schools. All types of support and qualitative and quantitative assumptions were based on the analysis of the existing situation, completed with a diagnosis of needs, carried out in schools covered by the project, then approved by the school’s authority – the City of Płońsk. The activities of the project respond directly to the specific objective of WMM ROP 2014-2020 through the implementation of the following specific objectives: a) Increasing knowledge of 708 pupils (including 358 pupils) covered by activities developing key competences by 30.06.2018; B) equalising knowledge gaps in 309 pupils (including 171 pupils) supported by equalisation up to 30.06.2018r; C) Reducing deficits in 240 pupils (including 106 pupils and 8 disabled pupils:(5dz/3chl) supported to their specific educational needs by 30.06.2018r; d) Education/Strengthening attitudes and skills sought on the labour market in all project participants by 30.06.2018r; e) Increasing the use of ICT and the experimental method to conduct classes in everyday school practice thanks to retrofitting the teaching base of schools by 31.07.2018; F) Upgrading skills and knowledge of 126 teachers and 14 teachers by 31.12.2017.
