New places for children in kindergarten no. 5 named after Hansel and Gretel in Płońsk

The main objective of the project is to increase accessibility to high-quality preschool education and to equalise the educational and development opportunities of children, including with special needs. This goal will be achieved by creating in the school year 2019/2020 min. 20 new kindergarten places in kindergarten No.5 named after Jas and Małgosia in Płońsk, for which the local authority is the City of Płońsk. In addition, the project envisages extending the offer of the above-mentioned kindergarten to include additional classes equalising the educational opportunities of all children attending kindergarten, as well as improving the skills, competences and qualifications of 12 kindergarten teachers to work with children. The project plans to create one new kindergarten group for a minimum of 20 pre-school children (2.5-3 years), if necessary, also for children with disabilities. The number of pre-primary schools created in support corresponds to the actual and projected need for pre-school education in the city of Płońska over a 3-year perspective (children from surrounding rural communities are allowed to participate in vacancies). In addition, thanks to the project, the existing playground will be retrofitted, which will be accessible to all children attending Kindergarten No. 5 children, including children with disabilities. The necessary equipment and equipment will be purchased to conduct additional activities. All the planned objectives and the scope of support are based on a pre-school diagnosis, which was developed in January and February 2018 and approved by the leading body in March 2018. The project will support children and teachers regardless of gender, race or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability. The project will be implemented exclusively for the Preschool No. 5, which has existed since 1989, located in Płońska – a middle city losing socio-economic functions.
