Different possibilities – one goal = preschool education in Laski without barriers – adapting kindergartens in the Izabelin Commune.

The main objective of the project is to level the educational and development opportunities of 82 children (40DZ/42CH), including 3 children with disabilities (3CH, hereinafter referred to as DZN) – from the Municipal Kindergarten in Laski “Academy Pod Dębowy Liściem” (hereinafter the OWPL, ul. 3 May 43, 05-080 Isabella), through the implementation of a support programme up to 03.2021, including: use of existing preschool facilities to the needs of the DZN (equipment of equipment and tools), implementation of additional activities to equalise the educational opportunities of children in terms of identified deficits, improvement of skills, competence of teachers to work with children, including children with special educational needs. The basis of the project is the diagnosis of the needs of the OWPL, which confirmed the frequent opinions submitted by parents and the directorates of the OWPL regarding insufficient adaptation of the OWPL to support support for children with a special educational background, in particular for the DZN. For parents of the DZN, this often entails a very burdensome need to bring children to the PLO outside the municipality. Moreover, the diagnosis of the needs of the OWPL for preschool education services has shown that there is a need to broaden/update the educational offer of the PLO in order to equalise the educational and development opportunities of children with deficits (including DWN). This was also confirmed by the results of the analysis (included in the diagnosis) of applications submitted by parents in recent years for admission to the PLO, which showed that in recent years there has been an increase in the number of applications for children with opinions and rulings each year, indicating an increasing demand for places adapted to the needs of children with deficits including DZN (for the duration of the project as well as durability).
