The project is included in SZOOP RPO WM for the years 2014-2020 for non-competitive implementation. The project will be implemented by the Mazovian Voivodship Local Government – Marshal Office of the Mazovian Voivodship in Warsaw – Department of Public Education and Sport. The project is addressed to students with high performance/achievements in subjects and professional skills. The support will be given to pupils with above-average results in learning in professional subjects from the area of Mazowiecki Voivodeship. As part of the scholarship project, no less than 480 scholarships are planned for educational purposes for vocational school pupils, in the amount corresponding to the amount allocated to the scholarship project in the 2016/2017 school year. The project envisages granting at least 30 % of scholarships to students from vocational schools, Mazowieckie voivodships living in rural areas. Students applying for a grant must obtain an average of 3 theoretical and practical subjects of any choice (excluding apprenticeships) calculated on the basis of the Graduation Certificate in the 2015/2016 school year at no less than 4.66. In addition, students can earn points for participating in tournaments/olympics and competitions and for their origin from a multi-child family. Pupils of the vocational schools referred to in Article 9 may join the project. 1 point 3 of the Act of 7 September 1991 on the Education System. The project ensures equal educational opportunities for pupils with disabilities with high academic results, by awarding a scholarship of up to 5 % higher than the basic amount. It will be possible to calculate the exact amount of the individual grant only after the recruitment and count of scholarships with a disability ruling by 5 % of the amount of the scholarship. Expected deadline for the call – end of September this year. The own contribution of the voivodeship is 10 %.
