The project “Mazowsze – scholarships for vocational school pupils” aims to develop the capacity and motivation for further professional development of school pupils conducting vocational training from the Mazovian Voivodship by providing financial support (scholars) addressed to not less than 480 pupils with above-average results in vocational subjects. The project will allow pupils in vocational training schools to improve their skills to increase competitiveness on the labour market in the European Union and reduce the number of unemployed. The project is addressed to students with high performance/achievements in subjects and professional skills. The support will be given to pupils with above-average results in learning in professional subjects from the area of Mazowiecki Voivodeship. As part of the scholarship project, no less than 480 scholarships are planned for educational purposes for pupils conducting vocational training, up to an amount corresponding to the amount allocated to the scholarship project in the 2017/2018 school year. The project envisages granting at least 30 % of scholarships to pupils from vocational training schools, Mazowiecki Voivodeship residing in rural areas. Students who jointly meet the following conditions may apply for a scholarship project: 1) in the school year 2017/2018 will be pupils, at least 2 classes of vocational training (excluding adult schools) located in the Voivodeship area; 2) in the school year 2016/2017 they were promoted to the next class; 3) under the age of 24 by 30 June 2018.
