Sacral Heritage of Małopolska

The project includes the creation of a digital repository for photographic and descriptive material showing the sacred heritage of Małopolska, including historic churches and monasteries, chapels, tomb monuments, works of art in their religious and artistic context. The repository will be linked to a website presenting selected landmarks, churches and monasteries with furnishings, works of art, biographies of lay and clergy. A key step is the digitisation of ecclesiastical documents and archival materials for further sharing. The project will make it possible to search and access archival materials in electronic form in the publicly accessible part. Within the framework of the project, the following will be developed: The INTERNET portal presenting digital objects with metadata in an attractive graphic form will be based on modern, popular and safe technologies. The design of the presentation part of the portal will respect the guidelines of the National Interoperability Framework and WCAG 2.0 requirements at AA level. The portal will be based on Responsive Web Design technology, based on the proprietary CMS system. It will provide metadata and digital documentation for reuse through the OAI-PMH module. Metadata of objects based on ISAD(G) and CDWA schematics. Each object will be accessible through a unique identifier (URI). The portal will provide data at 4 Stars on a scale of 5 Star Open Data.
