The subject of the project is the replacement of heat sources of old boilers, furnaces, heating appliances for solid fuels in individual households for boilers using gas or biomass in Chełmiec Municipality. There is no possibility of connecting buildings to the heating network. The project also includes co-financing for the construction of internal installations in the building necessary for the proper functioning of the new heating system. Priority will be given to projects using renewable energy sources.The estimated number of boilers listed together with the modernisation of internal installations in buildings will be supported: 72 pcs.Thanks to the project, CO2 emissions will be reduced by at least 30 78.78 for existing installations. Support will be conditional on ensuring adequate energy efficiency of the building. The buildings covered by the project will meet the energy intensity requirements contained in the SzOOP.The owners of the buildings will be required to submit the building to the energy assessment according to the methodology adopted by IZ and to carry out the energy modernisation assessment of the building. The support will be conditional on the implementation of investments in the building that increase energy efficiency and reduce energy demand.The project also includes providing residents with information on reducing low emissions, saving natural resources and improving energy efficiency. This will be carried out within the framework of promotional, information and educational activities aimed at both children and young people and adults from the municipality. These activities will promote environmentally friendly attitudes and a sense of responsibility for the state of the environment in this area. All available information channels will be used to promote the project and these topics: Internet, local leaders of priests, mayors, etc., direct meetings, presses, posters, etc. The recipients are local residents. The municipality is not a health resort. There’s no plan for a cover program.
