The project aims to improve air quality in Zakopane by eliminating old coal boilers and replacing them with modern solid fuel boilers. The introduction of new heat sources on individual farms will reduce emissions of PM 10 and PM 2.5 to air in areas where connection to the heating network is technically or economically impossible. The project is carried out on the territory of the municipality classified as areas where corrective action is necessary to take measures consisting of the liquidation of old low-efficiency heating equipment and specified in the current Air Protection Programme for the Małopolska region of the POP. According to the current PGN in the municipality, an air quality problem has been identified due to the high air pollution resulting from the combustion of coal in old individual heat sources and indicated as corrective measures the need to reduce low emissions.The subject of the investment will be the replacement of old coal kilns in 200 housekeepers for fixed fuel installations modern coal furnaces description of parameters Q.
