Dismantling and safe storage of products containing asbestos from the area of Nowy Targ commune

The action plans to dismantle and store carcinogenic asbestos waste and to secure 450 Mg of building materials with asbestos content; asbestos-cement plates of corrugated eternite and plates of diamonds are planned to remove the above products from 150 buildings. On average, 126 Mg of asbestos products are planned to be dismantled and disposed of on 42 residential and commercial buildings. Of this number, at least 31 products are classified in the first and second degree of urgency in terms of technical status. An average annual disposal of 24 Mg of products dismantled from the roofs of 8 buildings is also planned. These products are fully classified in the first and second degree of urgency in terms of technical status. In view of the above, the percentage of objects defined in the first and second degree of urgency will be no less than 50.In the case of dismantling of products containing asbestos, the owner of the building will be obliged to submit to the building department a declaration of construction works not requiring a construction permit to carry out works consisting of dismantling of ethernite with asbestos. children and adolescents and adults in the municipality. There are plans to organise 19 meetings with primary school pupils. In villages where the highest number of asbestos-containing products was found, information campaigns were planned during rural meetings.
