Increasing accessibility to industrial areas in Chełmek – construction of access roads to the zone

The project involves the construction of 3 sections of access roads to the zone in design and build mode in the scope of: road construction, pavement construction; construction of parking spaces; construction of exits; the construction of the culvert; the construction of a street lighting network; reconstruction of the electricity grid; construction of a rainwater sewerage network; the construction of a water supply network; reconstruction of the gas network; reconstruction of the telecommunications network; tree-sweeping; vertical and horizontal markings.As part of the project, ash concrete will be used for substructure layers, which are located under mineral and asphalt surfaces. On the other hand, asphalt granules will be used for the construction of minaral asphalt paving layers, recovered from the milling of the existing asphalt paving obtained in the recycling phase. The project includes infrastructure solutions that increase the safety of traffic participants: drivers of vehicles, equalists and pedestrians. The project plans to build pavements with a total length of 1.17 km. The pavement of the pavement area in the pedestrian crossing area will be made in the form of a strip made of pavement with texture recognizable by blind people brail cube. The marking of pedestrian crossings will be supported by constantly flashing yellow light. In addition, the project includes the construction of 26 parking spaces perpendicular to the road, including 2 seats for people with disabilities and the construction of 44 posts of street lighting and rain drainage drainage system. During the road marking, among others, the use of LED lighting in active signs was planned, and in the case of the installation of the active sign B33 hybrid power supply using renewable energy sources solar windmill was planned.The agreement for co-financing was signed in May 2018 and completion of the project by the end of 2020.
