The subject of the project is the reconstruction of infrastructure within and in the immediate vicinity of the railway station, located on the only active railway line in Zakopane, where passenger trains are operated. The material scope of the project, carried out in the design and construction mode, includes the development of project documentation, the involvement of a substitute investor in the management of the project and construction works concerning three infrastructure elements of the facilities used to handle travellers: the historic building of the railway station reconstructs its two floors for passenger traffic. On the ground floor there are cash registers, waiting rooms, main hall, tourist and cultural information, catering and service facilities, toilets and traffic dispatching facilities for the emerging integrated communication centre; the basement includes service premises, technical, auxiliary and sanitary rooms. conversion of the entrance gate into platforms from 1961, located between the roundabout of the Home Army and the end of the railway tracks, on which the legendary neon is located, which is a tourist attraction of the city of the construction of the 3storey Park and Ride car park for passengers of the railway, as well as loads, buses and public transport, with a capacity of 144 seats, including 6 seats for disabled people and 9 vehicles. Within the facility, located between the railway tracks and the Jagiellonian and Smrekowa streets, there will also be two small service facilities and a Bike and Ride car park with 68 bicycle stations.The infrastructure covered by the project has great integration potential for different modes of transport, as the project is part of a broader investment concept of establishing an integrated communication centre in Zakopane. It will be operated from the station building and the car park will be free of charge for passengers using the services of railway and road hauliers
