Within the city of Kluczbork and the District of Kluczborski there is one business environment institution-Keybork Business Incubator. The planned area of impact of the investment relates directly to the entire Keybork district and the subregion of Kluczbork – Namysłów – Olesno. The investment is in line with RSIWO 2020 and is targeted at the inhabitants of the subregion, in particular to support the small and medium-sized enterprises sector. The SME sector is the driving force of the European economy. It is the main place of employment, it has a spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation and thus creates an important element of the competitiveness of the economy. Despite the important role played by small and medium-sized enterprises, the sector faces a number of systemic problems of a legal, financial and organisational nature, the generator of which is the state itself. The applicant has decided to implement a number of actions aimed at supporting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in an open competitive market above 24 m, offering them new innovative services provided by IOB in order to increase their competitiveness and accelerate their development. The project assumes the implementation of a comprehensive range of services in response to the needs of companies for specialised services provided by IOB documented by research carried out in enterprises in the subregion. Without ERDF support, the applicant would not have been able to make such a large amount of funding for the implementation of new, innovative services. The applicant has decided to support enterprises of SMEs operating on the market above 24 m from the sectors which are key to the development of the Opole Voivodeship in accordance with RSI WO2020.
