Safe transport in Opole

Project Mon. “Safe transport in Opole” will include a set of tasks carried out in the Opole Agglomeration to influence the development of sustainable intermodal urban mobility and reduce environmentally burdensome pollutant emissions and generated by motorised road users (mainly CO2).The integrated project will carry out the following investment tasks: Task 1: “Construction of a bridge within ul. Niemodlińska on the Ulga Canal with the construction of a technological footbridge with the approval of foot-bike traffic' as an investment aimed at: — reconstruction of ul. Niemodlińska and its accompanying infrastructure (bicycle paths, pavements) with the intention of improving its operating conditions for wheel and pedestrian traffic, – construction of the adjacent possibility of walking-bike crossing. Task 2: “Construction of a walking-bike line along the street. Construction as part of the extension of ul. Construction" Task No. 3: “Construction of a bicycle path along the street. Brand from Jemielnica as part of the task Construction of cycle paths" Task No. 4: “Expansion of Niemodlińska and Spychalskiego Streets on the section from ul. Polish Army to the Relief Canal with the construction of a bicycle path" Task No. 5: “Reconstruction of the footbridge under the railway bridge in the street. FR. Jan Dobre and St. 11 November in Opole" Task No. 6: “Purchase and installation of dynamic passenger information boards – 4 pcs.” Task No. 7: “Construction and modernisation of street lighting in Opole” Task No. 8: “Illumination – Technical documentation (expenditure incurred in 2015)” Any tasks foreseen in the project will result in more efficient use of non-motorised individual transport, reduce the use of passenger cars, strengthen transport links, reduce pollution emissions, noise and congestion scale of urban streets and improve road safety, including cycling and pedestrians.
