Low level of entrepreneurship in Opolskie voivodship – translates into a small number of jobs created, resulting in higher levels of unemployment, as well as poverty and social exclusion. In response to this problem, diagnosed in ROP WO 2014-20 (PI 8iii, Objective 8iii), this project offers substantive and financial support for those setting up a business in the WO. The project responds to a problem defined in the RPO by: — referral of support to 60 people from the age of 30 with a status in accordance with the rules of the competition and point. 3.5, including those in particularly vulnerable labour market situations, support the creation of companies that potentially create new jobs. The problem directly affecting the target group is the lack of knowledge and skills, as well as the fin resources to set up a DG, which would improve their labour market situation. The object of the project is to assist these people in establishing a DG by: A. Comprehensive school advisory support for 60 persons (min.30K), where they will gain a broad knowledge of the running of the DG, enabling them to prepare (with the help of advisors) grant applications; B. Granting the creation of a company to 45 people who have developed the best proposals (max. 6 times the average wage for work in the national economy; C. Granting bridging support: advice on the efficient use of grants and running the DG; non-reimbursable financial assistance paid in the amount of no more than PLN 1000 by 6 months from the establishment of the company (possibility of applying for an extension of up to 12 m). The project addresses both the regional problem defined in the RAP (low level of entrepreneurship) and the individual needs of the DG’s target group. By supporting the participants in the project, the level of entrepreneurship in the region will be strengthened, which will increase employment and reduce unemployment.
