Opolska Mama i Child (North Region)

The project was developed in partnership with the Health Care Team in Olesno. The project is aimed at physic residents within the meaning of the KC and/or working and/or learners in the Opolskie Voivodeship, with the place of providing health services to Mr. Keyborski, Oleski and Namysłowski. The need for the project results from the demographic situation and the increase in depopulation in the Opolskie Voivodeship. Increasing access to high-quality health services (high quality equipment and based on qualified staff) in the area of care for pregnant and young children and education in general, may encourage young parents to take a decision early on to enlarge the family – which may reverse the unfavourable demographic statistics of our region and affect the safe course of pregnancy in the first stage. The tasks planned in the project have such a goal. The project envisages carrying out prenatal studies for 2100 women < 35 Life, support for mobile perinatal care within the framework of a childbirth school and/or lactation clinic, extended midwife service, including for post-proliferation women and early postpartum rehabilitation. DOD, a total of 250 children up to 2 years of age will receive support in psychomotor research, nutrition, psychological research. Parents will also be given mobile instruction on home rehabilitation and specialist counseling. Training is also planned for medical staff (20 people). The project will contribute to achieving the main objective of enabling access to high-quality health services for pregnant women and young children, thus giving them the chance to safely run their pregnancy, deliver without complications, and extend and improve the quality of their child’s life, to live as efficiently as possible without congenital diseases – also in adult life (until old age).
