“Regeneration of the city of Keybork by improving the quality of public spaces and preventing and combating social exclusion”

“Regeneration of the city of Keybork by improving the quality of public spaces and preventing and combating social exclusion” is a comprehensive infrastructure project aimed at reviving degraded areas of the city in social and economic terms. The main axis of the project’s activities is the revitalisation of the site after the former Fampra in Kluczbork at ul. Pulaski consisting of transforming and adapting land and post-industrial facilities to new functions for social, social, cultural and recreational purposes, as well as the creation of a premises and facilities for such urban institutions as: Department of Professional Activation, Parasol Shine (1 and 2), as well as the creation of a café. In addition, it is planned to revitalise the surrounding area, creating a friendly place for recreation, science and entertainment. Within the framework of the project partnership, the revitalisations will also be given to areas classified as degraded areas of the city of Keybork, i.e. Catechetical House on St. Katowice 3 in Kluczbork (Plot No. 207/2). The scope of work will include: construction of a stairway with elevator, ventilation and fire protection system, as well as central heating and sewer water installations. Interblock spaces, owned by the second project Partner, will also be revitalised. “The Future” Housing Cooperative. The project will include the construction of sports and recreational infrastructure (e.g. sports fields, health paths, path to reflection therapy, gyms called), walking alleys, elements of small architecture. Some of the objects covered by the project are entered in the municipal register of monuments. PRODUCTS OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION: Number of facilities adapted to the needs of people with disabilities – pc. 3. Number of infrastructure facilities supported in revitalised areas – pcs. 3;Area of revitalised areas – 12.42 ha; Project share in the area covered by the revitalisation programme – 100 %.
