The subject of the project is to activate part of the areas of downtown by revitalising Krakowska Street and adjacent areas in Opole – stage II through the implementation of the material scope of the project, which includes revitalisation of the quarter interior between ul. Krakowska – ul. Gravel and Wigury – ul. Slow down in Opole. The project will consist of: • redevelopment of the building at ul. Krakowska 32 and the creation of the Centre for Social Activity • new development of the quarter interior between Krakowska, Żwirki and Wigury streets and Slow (new layout and pavement of pedestrians, walking – roadways and access to buildings and playgrounds, implementation of underground waste reservoirs, installation of technical elements and small architecture, revitalisation of the existing and complementing ornamental greenery, new lighting with power grid, connection of drainage infrastructure). The implementation of the planned investments will be accompanied by actions of a social nature – an awareness campaign is planned. The investment was included in the list of basic projects “Local Programme of Regeneration of Opole until 2023” adopted by Resolution No XXXIV/664/16 of the City Council of Opole of 24 November 2016.
