Dąbrowa Białostocka – Sokółka – reconstruction of the Voivodeship Road No. 673

Project Dąbrowa Białostocka- Sokółka – reconstruction of the Voivodeship Road No. 673 includes construction with extension of the road with engineering facilities and necessary technical infrastructure in the section from km 10 + 971.32 to km 41+ 923 with a length of 30.95 km running through the communes of Dąbrowa Białostocka, Sidra and Sokółka in the Sokólski district. The planned investment includes significant changes in the course of the road. The route from Leipzig towards Sokółka will lead from the roundabout at the entrance to Dąbrowa Białostocka by common course with DW 670 towards Osowiec, then after about 1 km turn left and a new trail will bypass the town from the east. Then, at the height of Jasionówka, the existing course of DW 673 will cross and walk on a stretch of about 14 km parallel to it, avoiding a series of villages in Dąbrowa Białostocka commune and Sidra commune. Further, the voivodeship road from the height of Makowlany will run along the existing trail through undeveloped areas, and then in Sokółka commune will leave it again, which will allow to avoid the villages of Sokolany, Voroniany and Kraśniany. The route will return to its current course already in Sokółka. The project provides for the execution of all necessary elements for the smooth, safe and more comfortable movement of all traffic participants, the execution of an appropriate drainage system and reconstruction of the conflicting weapons network investment. The scope of the basic investment works includes: • construction and reconstruction of engineering facilities – bridges and culverts, • construction of service roads with bituminous surface and sections of the walking-bike line, • reconstruction of municipal and district roads (mainly due to the connection to the new route of the DW) and places of access to the road(s). • reconstruction of intersections with district and municipal roads, • construction of new and reconstruction of existing bus bays, (SW section 1 str. 47-55)
